Black History Month

The countdown to Black History Month 2022 is on!
In Partnership with

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust, Croydon Council, and Norbury High School we will be celebrating the achievements and culture of Black African and Caribbean people during the month of October. We will celebrate the pride, history and rich diversity of the Black community.

This is reflected in this year’s theme:  Time for Change: Action Not Words To get to a better tomorrow, we can’t just focus on the past. The past is in the past. We can acknowledge and learn from it, but to improve the future, we need action, not words. We need to come together around a shared common goal to achieve a better world for everyone.

Make sure your events and activities are listed on the Croydon BME Forum online directory.
