The Get together for 55+

Young at Heart is a social and educational online (Zoom) group for those aged 55 and over.

We aim to improve the wellbeing of all that attend. This group is organised and hosted by the Croydon BME Forum. We encourage participants to attend from all ethnicities, religions, and cultural backgrounds. Each week, we invite special guests to speak about various topics the group has expressed interest in learning more about.

During this past year, we have held sessions on an array of topics, including: bereavement support, animal adoption, self-love and self-care, the COVID-19 vaccines, dementia awareness, caring for natural hair, Neighbourhood Watch, cybercrime, and mindfulness. We also host FUN events for this group, including Bingo and Quiz nights!

To join, you only need a tablet (e.g., iPad), computer/laptop, or a smart phone (e.g., iPhone or Samsung). Should you need help accessing Zoom, our team can provide basic support.
